A modern, immersive, and 360-degree digital experience, the exhibition unveils the little-known story of Empress Joséphine Bonaparte’s garden in Paris. Discover how it was filled with flora and fauna from around the globe, including black swans, kangaroos, emus, and hundreds of exotic plants from Western Australia.
Weaving together a shared history between France and Australia, this digital experience explores themes of power, wealth, and the thrill of scientific discovery in the 19th century—all through the eyes of socialite, amateur botanist, and the Empress of France—Joséphine Bonaparte.

Empress Joséphine's Garden is a modern, immersive large screen timed digital 360-degree experience where audiences move between three rooms.
9.45am, 10.30am, 11.15am, 12pm, 12.45pm, 1.30pm, 2.15pm, 3pm, 3.45pm
Each screening runs for 45 minutes.
To ensure we are running on time, please make sure you arrive 15 minutes before your session time.
