If you go down to the beach today you’re in for a big surprise!
Some friendly creatures from the deep have been safeguarding a really important treasure. Today is the day they plan to hand it over to Captains Boots and Redbeard.
Meet at Bathers Beach to discover what the treasure chest contains. While you’re there you might also get to meet some brilliant writers and illustrators, and here some amazing stories about the ocean and adventures on the high seas.
Please note this is a free event but bookings are essential for the break-out sessions with local authors/illustrators. In case of bad weather the event will move to the WA Maritime Museum.
