Get inspired by the beachside lifestyles of creatures big and small these school holidays!

We are turning our attention to all things fish! The WA Down Under gallery has some new gilled friends, and we're celebrating the finned and fabulous marine life in the waters around Fremantle/Walyalup. Take a closer look at the new displays and get hands-on with exciting interactive activities.

What's On?

  • New aquariums and displays - Visit the WA Down Under gallery and discover the marine and river life, where the Swan River/Derbarl Yerrrigan meets the sea.
  • Craft activities - Make a stained glass fish inspired by local waters and fold your own mini origami fish, for a hanging mobile, to take home.
  • The Great Sea Search - Join Frankie and Freddie Fish on a spotto trail, exploring the galleries to find fun clues about some special animals.
  • Digital aquarium - Colour in sea creatures and bring them to life on our digital screen, then explore the bizarre microscopic world of zooplankton by filling in the missing pieces.

Come along and explore WA's underwater world!
