Join us in advocating for this year’s 16 Days in WA theme, ‘Stopping Family and Domestic Violence: Play your part.

The annual 16 Days in WA to Stop Violence Against Women campaign runs from 25 November, International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, to 10 December, Human Rights Day.

During 16 Days in WA we're all encouraged to play our part to end violence against women — not just in words, but through everyday actions where we live, work, and connect with others.

This year, we're inviting you to write messages of support, remembrance, and commitment to ending violence against women on ribbons and then tie them to the anchors in front of the Museum. Please join us in amplifying the voices that too often go unheard.

Additionally, the Museum building, along with other prominent landmarks across Western Australia, will be illuminated in orange each evening.
