Nella Fitzgerald Events and Celebrate WA presents WA Day 2026, a family friendly festival bursting with culture, music, colour, and fun on Monday 1 June.

The festival is a celebration of our Western Australian community: a time to come together to share and value cultural diversity.

Special free activities are happening at the WA Shipwrecks Museum: 

  • 9.30am - 5pm | Immerse yourself in the magnificent models on display in the Naval Sea Power In Miniature exhibition.
  • 11.00am - 5pm I Check out the magnificent black swan installation on the Museum's lawn.   
  • 11.30am and 2.30pm | Free highlights tour of the Museum galleries.
  • 12.00pm - 4.00pm I Craft a kulbardi (magpie) mini-kite, enjoy colouring WA state emblems
