Nella Fitzgerald Events and Celebrate WA presents WA Day 2026, a family friendly festival bursting with culture, music, colour, and fun on Monday 1 June.

The festival is a celebration of our Western Australian community: a time to come together to share and value cultural diversity.

Special free activities are happening at the WA Shipwrecks Museum: 

  • 9.30am - 5pm | Immerse yourself in the magnificent models on display in the Naval Sea Power in Miniature exhibition.
  • 11.30am and 2.30pm | Free highlights tour of the Museum galleries.
  • 12.00pm - 4.00pm I Craft a kulbardi (magpie) mini-kite, enjoy colouring WA state emblems
  • 12.00pm – 1pm, 1.30pm – 2.30pm, 3pm-4pm | Magical Mermaid Meet & Greet 
  • 12.30pm – 1.30pm | Superhero Meet & Greet: The Mighty Hulk 
  • 12pm - 4pm | Magical Kingdom Princesses Meet & Greet 
  • 2pm – 3pm | Superhero Meet & Greet: Batman
