Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour presents WA Day 2023, a family friendly festival bursting with culture, music, colour and fun on Sunday 4 June.

 The festival is a celebration of our Western Australian community: a time to come together to share and value cultural diversity. At WA Shipwrecks Museum, take part in family friendly activities from cultural drumming and dance, to mask and cushion cover making which you can take home. 

Special free activities are happening at WA Shipwrecks Museum: 

  • 12pm - 4pm I Learn about the Nyoongar Six Seasons and create a beautiful inspired cushion cover to take home.
  • 12pm- 4pm I WA Day mask making for kids.
  • 12pm - 12.30pm I Cultural Drumming and Dance Workshop by Multicultural Drama and Dance. 
  • 1pm - 1.30pm I  Koolangkas Kreate Aboriginal dance performance.
  • 1.45pm - 2.15pm I Cultural Drumming and Dance Workshop by Multicultural Drama and Dance.
