In-gallery conversations

See a collection of exquisite handmade detailed miniature ship models. 

This exhibition includes many beautifully crafted British and Australian warships by Gerry Westenberg who has created incredible miniature ship models spanning over 40 years.

Take a close up look at the detail in miniature models of the Leeuwin and Koombana and marvel at the centrepiece of this unique exhibition; two of the most famous British warships, HMS Dreadnought and HMS Hood.  

Take advantage of in-gallery conversations with Gerry on Thursdays and Saturdays from 9.30am - 1pm.

At the Western Australian Museum, the health and safety of our visitors, volunteers and employees is our priority.

We have a COVID-19 Safety Plan in place and we are following Government advice.

We have increased the scope of our cleaning regime, and we have hand sanitiser available for visitors.

We ask that all visitors practice physical distancing where possible and good hygiene. If feeling unwell, particularly if experiencing a fever, cough, sore throat or shortness of breath, please visit on another day.
