Ngalaka Daa means “our tongue” in Noongar.

Presented in collaboration with Yirra Yaakin and WA Youth Theatre Company (WAYTCo)

This program is a vibrant celebration of Noongar language and culture, offering performers intensive development in theatre making, performance and language skills at a professional standard. Successful participants engage in a series of immersive workshops and rehearsals, leading to several curated public performance opportunities.

The Ngalaka Daa Ensemble serves as a vital avenue for preserving one of the world's oldest languages and fostering cultural awareness within the community.
