Archaeology blends the thrill of treasure hunting with the investigative skills of a super sleuth.
In this program, you'll learn the tools, techniques, and methods used by archaeologists to unlock secrets from the past. Experience the excavation process, analyse and interpret artefacts, and then prepare them for a mini museum display. You may even meet a real archaeologist!
During this program participants will:
- Survey, record, and analyse a small site for artefacts.
- Accurately document artefacts and piece together the clues that reveal their history.
- Take on the role of a museum curator to create a small display of the objects for others to view.
So, what are you waiting for? Sign up today, we think you’ll dig it!
