Calling junior archaeologists! We need a keen and dedicated team to help us to solve some mysteries. Do you have what it takes?
We humans leave evidence of our presence everywhere we go! Hair, skin, rubbish and fingerprints just to name a few. Join us for this fun foray into the world of archaeology and use your powers of observation and problem solving skills to look for clues and piece together evidence to solve a mystery or two.
During this workshop, participants will:
- Learn to identify different types of bone trauma and diseases using replica bones
- Peer through the microscope and see the incredible secrets of forensic biology
- Investigate and document an archaeological site using scientific illustration
- Discover stories of archaeology found in our galleries
Drop and leave programs
Drop and leave programs enable juniors to experience the Museum independently, discover and learn something new in an area of interest and access materials and resources that would not normally be available at home. All programs are managed and monitored by our experienced Learning and Engagement staff.
If you register for a tour, program or an event, general entry is included in your booking
