Under the expert guidance of Teori Shannon, discover the process of wet specimen preservation.

Gain fascinating insights into toad anatomy while being guided through the process of dissecting and preparing a specimen for wet preservation, including techniques to colour the various important structures of a specimen and how to showcase the toad and its anatomy in a scientific display. Take home your preserved creation in a glass jar, along with a deeper understanding of the machinery of biology.

Participants are encouraged to bring along a pencil or pen and a notepad.

Please note: Chemicals used include ethanol, Formalin, and enamel paint. All materials are supplied and ethically sourced where possible. If you purchase tickets and cannot attend the class, a refund can be requested 14 days before the class starts.
