Calling all young marine explorers and creative makers!

Discover how art and science come together in this fun half-day workshop. Inspired by our exhibitions, you’ll explore the creatures that live beneath the waves and transform those discoveries into art. Create your own ocean-themed stencils, print your designs, and watch them come to life.

Along the way, you’ll learn how both scientists and artists use observation, curiosity, and creativity to better understand the ocean.

What to expect:

  • Learn how to cut stencils and use screen‑printing tools
  • Create two ocean‑themed prints to take home
  • Explore the Museum’s galleries

A perfect school holiday workshop for kids who love to get creative and explore the wonders of the ocean—no wetsuit required!

All material provided - Just bring a snack and your drink bottle

Drop and Leave Holiday Programs

Drop and leave programs enable juniors to experience the Museum independently, discover and learn something new in an area of interest and access materials and resources that would not normally be available at home. All programs are managed and monitored by our experienced Learning and Engagement staff.
