Augmented Reality Mario Kart

Get ready to play Mario Kart as you've never played it before - in augmented reality!

Spend the day with the gang from www.spacejump.gg, turning the floor into custom-built racetracks before competing against other teams in a tournament these school holidays. Combining physical cars with a virtual race, experience all the fun of Mario Kart in a new and exciting way. 

During this drop and leave program, participants will:

• Work in teams to create their own custom racetracks using a plethora of different building materials
• Get creative with arts and crafts to decorate their racetracks
• Compete as a team in tournament-style races playing on a Nintendo Switch and using the custom-built tracks

It's going to be a full day of fun, don't forget to bring a water bottle and a packed lunch.

Enabling juniors to experience the Museum independently, and discover and learn something new. Managed and monitored by experienced Learning and Engagement staff, giving students access to materials and resources that would not normally be available at home.
