NAIDOC Week 2025

NAIDOC Week 2025 marks a powerful milestone: 50 years of honoring and elevating Indigenous voices, culture, and resilience. Boola Bardip is celebrating this incredible achievement by highlighting the importance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and contribution to Australian society and history.

This year's theme, "The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy," celebrates not only the achievements of the past but the bright future ahead, empowered by the strength of our young leaders, the vision of our communities, and the legacy of our ancestors.

50 years ago, the NAIDOC movement began as a fight for recognition, rights and self-determination - started by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities who dreamed of a future based on justice and equality. Over the years it has become an annual time for celebration, discussion and is now a reflection of the enduring strength of our communities.

Come by and be part of the story. Drop in, explore, and celebrate the strength, vision and legacy of NAIDOC’s next generation.
