Join us as we celebrate Indonesia with a full-day of free workshops and performances.
Come to Hackett Hall between 11am and 3pm for a series of community engagement events, workshops, music and dance performances. Then at 4pm our Learning Studios will be transformed for a uniquely Indonesian puppet shadow show: A Brief History of Babarang Keris Bandayuda presented by the Patra Padi Group. The shows portrays Prince Diponegoro and the fight against Dutch colonialism during the Java war (1825-1830) and it is for 15 year olds and over.
Please note: All experiences are free, but bookings are essential for the puppet show.
