Self-guided education visits for Dinosaurs Uncovered $15 per student.

Optional Introductory Talk | $50 per class of 32 students

Each session accommodates one class of up to 32 students. Teachers attend for free at a 1:6 ratio, and additional adults are welcome to purchase tickets if space permits.

No bones about it, Dinosaurs Uncovered is a palaeontologist’s paradise!

Discover how the careful study of ancient fossils unlocks a world never seen by humans. Learn how rocks uncovered and analysed by palaeontological experts help reveal prehistoric landscapes and the fascinating creatures that inhabited the skies, land and seas of the Late Cretaceous. Students can immerse themselves in a fossil dig, follow the scientific process of reconstructing dinosaur skeletons, and experience how emerging digital technologies bring these extraordinary animals to life in stunning detail.

Aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum, Dinosaurs Uncovered supports learning across Science, Digital Technologies and STEM. The exhibition encourages inquiry, observation and critical thinking, demonstrating how evidence and technology work together to deepen our understanding of Earth's prehistoric past.

Travel back to the Cretaceous and see what your students uncover!

Add an Introductory talk

Years 1–12
$50 per class (up to 32 students) plus exhibition admission
Wednesdays and Fridays 10am and 11am
30 minutes duration

Give your students an introduction to the science behind the exhibition with a 30-minute talk from our Learning and Engagement team.

How does a single fossil help us understand prehistoric life? Students will explore how scientists interpret fossil evidence, investigate past environments and piece together the story of life on Earth. This introductory talk equips students with the knowledge and inquiry skills to get the most from their visit to Dinosaurs Uncovered.

Aligned with the WA Curriculum, the session explores concepts across Biological Sciences, Earth and Space Sciences, and Science Inquiry. Students will examine:

  • How fossils provide evidence for evolution and the history of life on Earth.
  • How geological processes preserve and reveal evidence of past environments.
  • The scientific methods used by palaeontologists to interpret fossil evidence and reconstruct ancient ecosystems.
  • The importance of evidence-based reasoning in developing and refining scientific understanding.

Must be booked at least three weeks in advance of your visit.
