About the 2026 School Design Challenge
At Boola Bardip we share thousands of stories from across Western Australia. That’s what our name Boola Bardip means in the Nyoongar language, ‘Many Stories’. But we know there are many more waiting to be told—and that’s where you come in!
Does your class or school have a story or object that holds special significance to your community? Would you like to share it with thousands of visitors to the WA Museum Boola Bardip? This is your chance to design a project that tells that unique story.
Creativity thrives through experimentation, iteration, refinement and reflection. Great ideas take time to grow! That’s why we’re inviting schools to express their interest early, allowing plenty of time to develop and refine their projects before Design Week 2026.
How to get involved?
Complete an Expression of Interest form and submit it by Friday 21 March 2025.
Before submitting, please review the Terms and Conditions of entry for important details on participation.
