For two decades the Friends of Mexico in Western Australia (FOMEX) have been bringing people together through culture, creativity and heritage. This special exhibition marks 20 years of events, traditions and stories that have shaped a thriving cultural presence within Western Australia.

Please enjoy this exhibition celebrating FOMEX’s vibrant calendar of events, images and memories from the last 20 years, and the important impact they have made on the Western Australian landscape.

Friends of Mexico in WA

Friends of Mexico in WA (FOMEX), is a non-profit, incorporated association created in 2006. FOMEX’s mission statement is “to promote Mexican culture and heritage in Western Australia”. To achieve its mission FOMEX is open to the general public, not just to Mexicans living in Perth.

The association is run by an enthusiastic group of volunteers, who contribute their time and energy to bring Mexico closer to Western Australia.
