Presented in partnership with Friends of Mexico WA, an organisation that celebrates Mexican culture and heritage in innovative ways, each session includes a themed seminar followed by a performance by Ixtzul, FOMEX’s Mexican folkloric dance troupe.

3,000 years before FIFA.
As the FIFA World Cup approaches, we begin 3,000 years before FIFA exploring the ancient "Juego de Pelota", the ball game played by the Aztecs and Mayans. Discover its history, symbolism and the important role it played in society long before modern football. A unique cultural experience connecting sport and history in one unforgettable event.

Experience Mexico Through Australian Eyes
Join us for a unique talk by an Australian traveller and food enthusiast who recently explored Mexico firsthand. Through stories, flavours, and reflections, he will share what it’s like to experience Mexico from a fresh perspective—discovering its vibrant food culture, everyday life, and the moments that make the country unforgettable.
This session offers a warm, personal journey into Mexico.
