The artists

Two women stand next to each other on rocks

Hi. Ok, Sorry.
An experimental electronic duo from Perth, WA. Using analogue synthesisers as performance tools, the duo creates mesmerising rhythmic tracks with an immersive presence. Each performance is unconstrained, unique, and never to be repeated.

Robot crouches on plain background

NeapolaXi
A multidisciplinary artist, electronic producer, vocalist and composer creating digi-dream space fantasies, deconstructed club, and catchy deep-fried-avant-pop in sunny Walyalup/Fremantle. Their experimental production style is a playground of mercurial frequencies. Sometimes cracked, maximal and chaotic; other times floating through unsettling tapestries of vocal manipulations, rolling beats and layered harmonies.

Blonde female with long hair stares into camera

Siobhan Cotchin
This West Australian alt-country/rock singer-songwriter catapulted into 2020 and she already has 2022 under her spell. Siobhan quickly became one of Australia's favourite new artists, winning over hearts with her debut single ‘Tear Myself Apart’ which exploded nationally. Her live sets have quickly gained momentum, supporting Bob Evans, Robert Forster (Go-Betweens), Spacey Jane, Abbe May and The Kill Devil Hills.

Woman with her eyes shut holds microphone stand, singing to the left

Drea
This talented, young singer captivates audiences through her ability to portray vulnerability in ballads and confident, outspoken songs. After releasing her first single in 2020, she has worked with various Western Australian artists such as Dylan Guy, Mali Jo$e, Otiuh and Adrian Dzvuke. Influenced by gospel, hip-hop and r'n'b artists such as Cece Winans, Tori Kelly, Ariana Grande and Doja Cat, Drea combines these genres to create her own unique sound that has not been heard before.

Jocelyn’s Baby
The ever-changing solo project of Boorloo-based musician and theatre maker Jess Nyanda Moyle. Raised in Northern Perth, the 2nd gen Filipina/Australian migrant writes stories about home, identity and healing. Influenced by the likes of Mitski, Paul Kelly, Tracy Chapman and Phoebe Bridgers Jess tells their stories through lyric-led, sickeningly catchy alt-folk, pop and rock. Performing for Goods Lift in it’s solo, acoustic iteration.

Anesu
Born in Zimbabwe and raised in Perth, Anesu (he/they) is a transgender rapper that draws influences from both those worlds, exploring themes of queer & cultural identity through lyrical storytelling and soulful melodies. Since their first release of ‘Black Girl’ last year, Anesu caught the attention of RTR as RTRFM most played 2021, Triple J Unearthed as Featured Artist of The Week, Red Bull’s “7 Perth Rappers to watch” & Pilerats “20 Australian artists to watch in 2022”. With recent releases like ‘MELANIN’, the 24-year-old artist is set to continue dominating the Australian music scene.
