Set sail through the extraordinary life of WA’s most legendary adventurer.
With eleven solo circumnavigations, including a non-stop triple, Jon Sanders' story is the stuff of legend.
This chamber music performance brings his breathtaking journey to life with stirring works by Beethoven, Elgar, Bach, Mendelssohn, and Scheherazade, inspired by his beloved yacht Perie Banou.
“This is not just a sailing story, it’s a story of courage, science, and one man’s quiet, unstoppable spirit,” says PSO Creative Director Fiona Campbell.
Part of PSO’s WA Stories series.
