Get ready to unleash your creativity and racing spirit!
These school holidays, spend the day with the gang from SPACEJUMP, designing and building your own custom racetracks, then bringing them to life using augmented reality. Once the tracks are set, it's time to race your karts and compete for glory in a thrilling AR showdown! Combining physical cars with a virtual race, you'll experience all the fun of Mario Kart in a new and exciting way.
Perfect for gamers, makers, and anyone who loves a mix of tech and fun. No prior experience needed - just bring your imagination!
What to expect
- Work in a team to brainstorm, design and build racetracks
- Get creative with arts and crafts to decorate racetracks
- Race augmented reality karts using a Nintendo Switch
Be quick to race in for this highly popular program!
All you need to bring is your lunch and water bottle - we'll provide everything else.
Drop and Leave Holiday Programs
Drop and leave programs enable children and young people to experience the Museum independently, discover and learn something new in an area of interest and access materials and resources that would not normally be available at home. All programs are managed and monitored by our experienced Learning and Engagement staff.
