Get ready to zoom into space with 'Racing to the Stars'—an exciting Mario Kart adventure set on the moon!

You will race through lunar landscapes, dodge moon craters, and use space-themed power-ups in thrilling Mario Kart challenges. This event combines the excitement of Mario Kart with a fun, cosmic theme. Whether you’re a seasoned racer or new to the game, this program offers an unforgettable experience for everyone. Sign up now and race to the stars!

In this drop-and-leave program, you will:

  • Collaborate to design and build lunar-themed racetracks
  • Create and decorate your tracks with arts and crafts
  • Race augmented reality karts using a Nintendo Switch

National Companion Cards are accepted at WA Museum Boola Bardip. Due to the nature of this workshop, companion card bookings should be made by contacting reception@museum.wa.gov.au

Drop and leave programs

Drop-and-leave programs enable young people to experience the Museum independently, discover and learn something new in an area of interest, and access materials and resources not usually available. Our experienced Learning and Engagement staff manage and monitor all programs.
