Calling all stargazers and cosmic explorers! Join us as we gear up for the Geminids meteor shower, a truly spectacular display.
This annual meteor shower is renowned for its spectacular display, with up to 120 meteors per hour during its peak. It's a highlight in the astronomical calendar that you won't want to miss!
Join us for a day of free activities where you'll delve into the world of meteors, learn how they form, discover their history as shooting stars, explore different types of meteorites, understand what makes the Geminids meteor shower unique, and even get acquainted with the cameras and telescopes used to capture these extraordinary moments. Plus, find out how you can contribute as a citizen scientist. It's a day of astronomical excitement for the whole family!
