Minecraft Mission: Ocean Worlds

Calling all Minecraft builders and ocean explorers!

Dive into a full day of creativity, teamwork and underwater adventure inspired by our OceanXperience exhibition. After exploring the galleries, you'll take on a series of exciting Minecraft challenges as you design, build and problem-solve your way through an epic ocean mission.

Work together to overcome obstacles, test your creativity and bring your underwater world to life before sharing your creations with the group.

Whether you're an experienced builder or simply love Minecraft, this action-packed workshop is the perfect way to combine gaming, creativity and real-world ocean exploration.

What to expect

• Explore the galleries for inspiration
• Build your own Minecraft ocean world and complete creative challenges
• Work as a team to solve problems and complete your mission
• Share your creations with the group
• Develop creativity, collaboration and digital skills

Please note: Participants will use desktop PCs (not gaming consoles or tablets). A basic understanding of using a keyboard and mouse is required.

We'll provide everything - you just need to bring your lunch and a drink bottle.

Drop and Leave Holiday Programs

Drop and leave programs enable children and young people to experience the Museum independently, discover and learn something new in an area of interest and access materials and resources that would not normally be available at home. All programs are managed and monitored by our experienced Learning and Engagement staff.
