So here's the deal. Are you ready to take the challenge and help produce, direct and present a wild life documentary?
Due to the current state of the globe, world renowned documentary maker Sir David Attenborough is stuck in England and unable to travel around doing what he loves, so he’s handing over the documentation and preservation of the natural world to the next generation of creative conservationists and has put out the challenge to mini film makers world-wide to continue this work. That’s where you come in!
Our live animals are waiting for a part! No-budget and no time to waste, lights, camera, action! Let’s do this!
During this workshop participants will :
- Create a short film using various Museum locations
- Experiment with improvisational acting
- Learn guerrilla film-making techniques
At the end of the day, we will kick back, turn the lights off and watch the premiere of our no-budget documentary film.
Note: Some activities require participants to sit on the floor so please ensure suitable, casual clothing is worn.
Drop and leave programs
Drop and leave programs enable juniors to experience the Museum independently, discover and learn something new in an area of interest and access materials and resources that would not normally be available at home. All programs are managed and monitored by our experienced Learning and Engagement staff.
If you register for a tour, program or an event, general entry is included in your booking.
