Explore the deep through coding and robotics
Step into the role of an OceanXplorer and explore the ocean through coding and robotics. Using LEGO® EV3 Classroom robots, you’ll design, build and program your own underwater expedition inspired by the remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) featured in our OceanXperience exhibition.
After visiting the exhibition and exploring interactive ROV displays, you’ll take on the role of a robotics engineer. Plan a mission through a deep-sea trench, create your own underwater landscape, map out obstacles, and then code your robot to navigate the route and complete its research mission.
What to expect
- Visit the Museum's latest temporary exhibition OceanXperience and explore real-world underwater research technology
- Investigate how remotely operated vehicles explore the deep ocean
- Design and build a deep-sea challenge course
- Learn coding and robotics skills using LEGO® EV3 Classroom robots to complete an underwater research mission
We will provide everything you need. Just bring a snack and your drink bottle.
Drop and Leave Holiday Programs
