Unleash your creativity these school holidays with Paper Whirls: The Art of Quilling!
It’s the perfect mix of precision, creativity, and fun. Roll, shape, and glue strips of paper into stunning decorative designs as you explore the intricate and beautiful craft of quilling.
In this program, you will:
- Learn basic quilling techniques and how to use the tools
- Choose a design to put your new skills into practice
- Take home your completed piece to display with pride.
All materials are provided, so just bring your creativity and let your imagination unfurl (but not your quills)!

Drop and leave programs
Drop and leave programs enable juniors to experience the Museum independently, discover and learn something new in an area of interest and access materials and resources that would not normally be available at home. All programs are managed and monitored by our experienced Learning and Engagement staff.
