With our Petals and Pollinators program, you can celebrate the Nyoongar season of Djilba and the vibrant explosion of wildflowers in WA!
Explore the beauty of wildflowers through watercolour painting and learn their vital role in supporting pollinators.
In addition to capturing their charm on canvas, you'll get hands-on as you get on the tools to build a cozy bee hotel for local native bees.

Tools and materials used under strict guidance include:
- Hand tools: Hand drills, hack saw, screwdrivers and tabletop vice
- Protective equipment: Safety glasses, latex-free gloves, protective aprons and dust masks
- Materials: Plywood, bamboo and PVA wood glue

Drop-and-leave programs enable young people to experience the Museum independently, discover and learn something new in an area of interest, and access materials and resources not usually available. Our experienced Learning and Engagement staff manage and monitor all programs.
