Come and dive into the thrilling world of robotics and uncover the world of sensors, motors and controllers.

Become a coding whiz using drag and drop coding blocks. Then dive into forever loops and sensor coding, before executing your commands and watching your creation come to life.

Come along and give our EV 3 Mindstorm robots a workout!

During this workshop participants will be:

  • Introduced to programming EV3 robots using drag and drop coding
  • Use new programming skills to undertake challenges using your robot’s colour and ultrasonic sensors
  • Modify your robot structure to construct a zoetrope robot that creates animated pictures, a spirograph robot that creates cool artwork, and more
  • At the end of the day, showcase your new robotic skills (and your robot’s artwork) at the Mindstorming Mayhem Premiere. (Adults welcome)

Experience a full day of fun during these school holidays! Don't forget to bring a water bottle and your lunch.

Drop and leave programs

Drop and leave programs enable juniors to experience the Museum independently, discover and learn something new in an area of interest and access materials and resources that would not normally be available at home. All programs are managed and monitored by our experienced Learning and Engagement staff.
