If you've explored our Wild Life gallery, you would have spotted some amazing displays created by our Senior Preparator and Taxidermist, Kirsten Tullis. Much of the incredible work she does goes on quietly behind the scenes, with many hours of research and creative work taking place prior to putting them on display. Kirsten especially likes the challenge of creating something no one else has made before.
Meet Kirsten and learn how she prepares sponges and gorgonians, soft corals, crustaceans, sea stars, fish and other animals then creates mini-dioramas to show off WA's magnificent northern underwater world.
Under Kirsten's guidance, come and try your hand at making a small display of your own to take home!
