Join leading international experts in Chinese history for a captivating weekend of free talks at WA Museum Boola Bardip. This special series explores the remarkable Qin dynasty, offering fresh perspectives on one of the most iconic periods in ancient China.
For two days only, five specialists will share their expertise on the legacy of Emperor Qin Shihuang and the enduring mystery of the Terracotta Warriors.

- Mr. Han Jianwu Professor of Relics and Museology, Deputy Director of Shaanxi Institute for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage discusses recent Advances in the Archaeology and Scientific Research of the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor.
- Ms. Tonia Eckfield Exhibition Curator of Terracotta Warriors: Legacy of the First Emperor, Author of landmark publications on Chinese Art, archaeology and materials science.
- Ms. Bai Dongmei: Professor of Relics and Museology, Display Research Department, Han Yang Ling Museum (Member)

Professor Tonia Eckfield is exhibition curator of Terracotta Warriors: Legacy of the First Emperor, and a Principal Fellow at the University of Melbourne. She has written many papers & books on the subject, given lectures internationally and is often shown as an on-screen expert for documentary films on Chinese cultural heritage, as well as TV and radio.
Han Jianwu graduated from Northwest University with a major in archaeology and is a research curator. He is the Deputy Director of the Shaanxi Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics Protection. He has also published over 70 papers as well as authored and edited more than ten books, which have won many awards.
Bai Dongmei is in the Exhibition and Conservation Department as well as a research curator at Hanyangling Museum. She has curated many exhibitions as well as publishing dozens of papers on Han dynasty history.

Chen Hong's research focus is the archaeology of the Zhou, Qin, and Han dynasties. She studies culture from an archaeological perspective. She has Written two books on Qin Culture and is currently a research curator at the Museum of the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor.
Cao Long graduated from the School of Cultural Heritage and Museology at Northwest University, majoring in Archaeology, and holds a master's degree. He has long been engaged in archaeological research on Western Han imperial tombs at the Shaanxi Provincial Institute of Archaeology. Cao has published more than 20 papers on Qin and Han archaeology.
