Ever wondered how we select objects, where we find them, and the ways they are used to share knowledge?

When creating the Stations and Country display for the Changes exhibition, both old and new objects were collected to bring the pastoralism collection into the 21 century – bringing a fresh perspective to an old story.

Kylie Elston 

Kylie is a curator in the Western Australian Museum’s History department. 

She has degrees in Australian history and applied heritage and has also worked in journalism and communications.
