Education bookings terms and conditions
Bookings and payment
All education bookings will be issued with a tax invoice for the total balance upon confirmation of the booking, and full payment is required no later than 7 days prior to date of visit. Payment can be made by credit card only. Bookings secured within the 7-day window require immediate payment via credit card.
Failure to pay before the visitation date will result in the workshop being cancelled without prior communication.
Any amendments must be requested in writing at least 7 days prior to the date of visit. No refunds will be given once a booking is finalised, for any school or educational organisation’s failure to attend the scheduled booking date or changes in attendance numbers.
All booking requests should be sent to education@museum.wa.gov.au.
Ticketing terms and conditions apply to any bookings with Western Australian Museum.
Non-booked visits
Western Australian Museum reserves the right to refuse entry if the Museum is at capacity and no prior booking has been made.
Adult supervision
The responsibility of children remains with the teaching staff from the visiting school or educational organisation. Please ensure that the designated adult supervisor is aware of their role regarding the behaviour and safety of students.
The following ratios are recommended, with a minimum of two school supervisors per school group:
Years K–6, 1 adult per 6 students
Years 7–12, 1 adult per 10 students
Tertiary, minimum 1 supervisor per group
