Fossils will rock, facts will roll, and science will take centre stage as Blue Heelers Square turns into the ultimate National Science Week hangout.
Afternoon or evening, there’s something for every curious mind. Start with music, fossils and science activities for the kids then stick around as the Square transforms into a quiz arena for adults!
What's on
The Ammonites Rock Geraldton
3.00pm – 5.00pm
Bring your mini dino fans (ages 5–11) for a prehistoric party with The Ammonites – an all-female supergroup of fossil-loving rockstars from Dinosaur University. They’ll turn science into a concert like no other.
- Science activities kick off at 3.00pm
- Live music starts at 4.00pm
- Tickets: $10 per child (parents and carers free)
Science in the Square
5.30pm - 9pm
The grown-ups’ turn for some science-fuelled fun. Test your knowledge with trivia, mini-games and brain-bending facts. Come solo or with a team! Prizes are up for grabs, and the night wraps up with a live recording of the Palaeo Jam Podcast with Michael Mills.
