Journey back in time to when dinosaurs roamed the Earth these school holidays!

Did Tyrannosaurus Rex have feathers? Some scientists think so. Did you know the vicious velociraptor, made famous by Jurassic Park, was actually no bigger than a turkey? It had feathers too! 

Visit the Museum these school holidays to dig up more amazing facts about during the Jurassic, Triassic and Cretaceous periods, when dinosaurs ruled the Earth.

Follow in the tracks of dinosaurs in the trail, put on your palaeontologist hat for a dinosaur dig or take on the Dinosaur Escape Room and crack the code to reunite a dino family before time runs out.

Dinosaur Trail | Free
Travel back to prehistoric times! Explore and learn more about this fascinating point in history as you move through the Museum.

• Junior trail: Ages 4-9
• Senior trail: Ages 10+

Activity Stations | Free
Roam through eight dino-mite activity stations where young palaeontologists can dig into fun facts, uncover ancient secrets, and get hands-on with prehistoric adventures!"

Workshop: We Dig Dinos | $8
Grab your tools and step into the boots of a junior palaeontologist in our hands-on Dinosaur Dig Workshop! Unearth replica fossils, brush off ancient bones, and learn the secrets of the creatures that once roamed the Earth.
Suitable for ages 6 - 12

Dinosaur Escape Room | $30 per group (up to 5 people)
Step into the forest, solve prehistoric puzzles, and piece together the lost journal to crack the code and reunite a dinosaur family before time runs out.
Suitable for ages 12+

Calm Zone | Free
Take a break and relax in our cozy reading corner and sensory tent. Enjoy some dinosaur-themed stories or get hands-on with dino games and activities. This zone is perfect for winding down after an exciting visit!
Suitable for all ages.

Participants aged 12 and under must be supervised by a parent or guardian.
