Explore the cultural significance of face masks with local artist Linda Rae before creating your own artistic statement.

History tells us that humans have been wearing masks for as long as we have been humans. Now a novel coronavirus is writing a fascinating new chapter in the cultural history of human masks.

Targeted to school-age children and their parents to explore the topic together, an opportunity to question and resolve how we have handled COVID-19 and its impact on our daily lives.

Artworks will be displayed in an exhibition in the British Arms Hotel after the workshop and may be selected to be published in the Pandemic Portfolio 2 keepsake book.
