RegenWA are hosting a ‘Biological Farming Systems Field Day’ at Richard Davy’s property (Windi Windi Pastoral in Mettler) to demonstrate how he has increased his production capacity and restored biodiversity through his biological approach to farming.
It will bring together interested farming stakeholders for peer-to-peer discussion as well as a farm tour.
Speakers include:
- Richard Davy – Windi Windi Pastoral
- Dr Charles Massy – farmer, scientist, author of Call Of The Reed Warbler
- Ken Bailey – Halsen Technology
- Justin Jonson – Threshold Environmental
The day includes presentations at the shed, followed by a farm tour to highlight the crop agronomy practices Richard has implemented as well as to see a revegetation area that was previously a blue gum plantation. The day will finish up with a BBQ lunch back at the shed.
Please arrive at 8.45am for a 9am-sharp start.
