Congratulations to our Fly to the Warriors competition winner!

While the Terracotta Warriors prepare for their journey home to China, one lucky visitor is getting ready to follow them!

Congratulations Christopher Bouzidis, the winner of our Fly to the Warriors competition.

Christopher visited the exhibition just a few weeks ago with his family to celebrate his uncle’s 70th birthday. When purchasing tickets online, he selected “enter now” at checkout and agreed to receive communications from the WA Museum.

That single click has now turned into a trip for two to Xi’an.

His prize includes return economy flights for two to Xi’an, generously provided by Cathay Pacific, along with private airport transfers in a luxury vehicle, a five-night stay at the Shangri-La Hotel Xi’an and a guided city tour – including a visit to the Terracotta Warriors Mausoleum – thanks to Juyo Travel.

Christopher told us he was completely surprised by the win, as he doesn’t know anyone who’s won anything like this before. Now, he’s busy planning the trip of a lifetime with his wife.

With Terracotta Warriors: Legacy of the First Emperor wrapping up with a completely sold-out weekend, after welcoming more than 300,000 visitors through the doors, it’s special to see one visitor extend the experience all the way to China.

Thank you to our partners Cathay Pacific and Juyo Travel for helping turn one visitor’s museum visit into an international itinerary. Congratulations Christopher and safe travels to Xi’an!
