Empress Joséphine’s Garden exhibition extended!

We’re thrilled to announce Empress Joséphine’s Garden has been extended until Sunday 11 May 2025.

Whether revisiting or discovering it for the first time, step into history with this immersive 360-degree experience that brings to life Empress Joséphine Bonaparte’s legacy. Explore her influence on France, botanical science, global culture, and how it ties to Western Australia, all while immersing yourself in her renowned garden at Château de Malmaison in Paris.

To celebrate the exhibition extension, we have a new line-up of French inspired entertainment to further enhance your immersive experience.

Sell-out high tea is back.

Due to overwhelming popularity, we’re bringing back Joséphine’s Garden High Tea. Starting Saturday, 8 February you can indulge in a unique and exclusive afternoon with friends at a tea party with a difference. Enter the world of Empress Joséphine and her unique sanctuary at Malmaison before enjoying tiered platters of lovely petit fours, including sweet and savoury treats and the finest teas – or get in quick and book one of our special sessions for your mum this Mother’s Day!

Friday night French inspired Le Bar continues.

But that’s not all—get ready to experience some more thrilling Friday night entertainment with our fabulous Le Bar sessions! The new season kicks off on Valentine’s Day, Friday 14 February! The evenings will be infused with a distinct French flair, offering a lineup of diverse and vibrant performances. From sultry burlesque, fabulous drag, lively swing, jazz, Bridgerton-inspired music and more!
