His research is all about uncovering new species, mapping where they live, and figuring out how land use affects them. He’s even diving into how these beetles “talk” to each other using sound — a quirky behaviour that scientists are only just beginning to understand.

On Saturday, 13 August 2022 we welcomed our one-millionth visitor to WA Museum Boola Bardip since opening in November 2020.

Olivia, Jack and Pia were surprised and delighted as cheers erupted and streamers descended on their entry to the Museum.
