Join us during Science Week for some quality crafternoon fun with our Ghost Nets crafting workshop.
Learn about the important cleanup that can be done by environmental groups that retrieve stranded ghost nets and plastic waste from both ocean and beach environments. Transform this plastic waste from ocean wildlife hazard to art-making materials and enjoy some companionable time with others along the way.
Basic sewing skills will be required for this workshop, especially patience. This is not a process that is suitable for most children, as it is a slow burn with only very gradual outcomes. Children over 10 years are welcome and will need an accompanying adult for guidance and assistance.
