More summer fun with us in a vibrant celebration of native plants and animals these School Holidays.
We have an exciting range of free, drop-in French/Australian activities influenced by our latest exhibition Empress Joséphine's Garden, including:
- A stunning exhibition walk (admission fees apply) to discover the captivating sights and stories about exotic Australian plants and animals that come to life in Josephine Bonaparte's Garden in Malmaison, Paris.
- Get crafty with hands-on activities—craft your own French bicorne (two-cornered) hat, decorate a scratch art flower, or make a beaded bag tag to take home.
- Take the Great explorations discovery trail, playing gallery hide-and-seek as a 19th century adventurer exploring the mysterious Southland.
- Channel your inner French artist in our Sketching Salon, where you’ll draw some of Australia's most remarkable taxidermied animals using a camera lucida device.
Bring a new dimension of fun, creativity and exploration to your WA Maritime Museum visit these school holidays, we can't wait to see you!
