Join local artist and natural history illustrator Catherine Scartaccini as she unveils the secrets of her extraordinary craft. Enjoying a lifelong passion for animals, Catherine has developed her skills as a specialist illustrator, creating a large body of photorealistic work.
In this one-of-a-kind demonstration, you'll see the process of bringing animals to life on paper—with Catherine’s realistic sketching projected onto the big screen for everyone to enjoy. About the Artist
Catherine Scartaccini holds a first-class Honours degree in Zoology and Anatomy from The University of Western Australia, and over her career has established herself as an internationally recognised artist. Her repertoire includes hundreds of original commissions, specilaising in wildlife and miniature-sized illustrations. Catherine would love to chat with you about how she has developed her skills.
