Join THEATRE 180 as they discuss their upcoming production that reveals an infamous historical event in WA through new storytelling.

Perth’s acclaimed THEATRE 180 are well-known and much-loved for previous productions such as A Fortunate Life, based on A.B. Facey’s biography of the same name.

In this special Page to Stage event for Totally Lit, the company’s actors and director open the door to a rehearsal of their latest production and collaboration with WA Museum, CATALPA: Flight to Freedom by Stuart Halusz and Myles Pollard, which tells the story of one of the most daring and audacious prison breaks in Australia’s history—the rescue of six Fenian prisoners from the fortress of Fremantle Prison.

Don’t miss this rare opportunity for a behind-the-scenes look at the process of taking a story from the page to the stage.

The open rehearsal will be followed by an audience Q&A.
