Season Pass: Terms and conditions

The Season Pass provides unlimited access to the special exhibition during standard open hours. It does not include access to any other program or event, including after-hours exhibition viewings, exhibition-related programs, or general admission.

The Season Pass is valid for the named holder only and is non-transferable. Identification may be requested upon entry to verify ownership.

Misuse or transfer of the Season Pass may result in its cancellation without refund. See our Fair Use policy for more information.

The exhibition operates on a timed-entry basis with limited capacities. Season Pass holders are required to book into a session, and it is recommended that this is done in advance to guarantee entry at your preferred time. Entry without a booking is subject to session availability and therefore not guaranteed. No compensation will be provided if entry is declined due to the unavailability of a desired session.

Conversions of exhibition tickets to Season Pass only valid on day of original purchase.

The Museum reserves the right to amend exhibition dates, exhibition content, operating hours, and access conditions as required. In the event of exhibition closure or interruption beyond the Museum’s control, no compensation, refund, or extension of the Season Pass will be provided.

By purchasing or using a Season Pass, the holder agrees to abide by these Terms and Conditions and any future updates published by the WA Museum Boola Bardip.

Fair Use of the Western Australian Museum Season Pass

We consider your use of the Western Australian Museum Season Pass to be unreasonable if it is used in a manner that is inconsistent with its intended purpose — that is, for individual, non-transferable access to the Western Australian Museum specific season pass exhibition.

Examples of 'unreasonable use' include, but are not limited to:

  • Allowing others to use your pass (e.g., sharing your pass with friends, family, or strangers).
  • Using the pass for commercial purposes, such as offering paid tours, guiding groups for profit, or using the museum as a setting for client meetings or professional services.
  • Using the pass to gain unauthorised benefits, such as attempting to redeem discounts, services, or access privileges not included with your season pass.
  • Accessing the museum multiple times per day in a pattern that suggests the pass is being used by more than one person or for reasons beyond ordinary personal use.
  • Attempting to resell or transfer the pass, or use it as part of a prize, promotion, or giveaway without our written consent.
  • Engaging in any fraudulent activity, such as falsifying identification to gain entry or presenting a counterfeit pass.
  • Using the pass to disrupt normal museum operations or to conduct activities that interfere with the enjoyment of other visitors.

This list is not exhaustive, and we reserve the right to assess behaviour that appears inconsistent with fair personal use.

If we reasonably believe you have breached this Fair Use policy, we may contact you for clarification. Repeated or serious violations may result in suspension or cancellation of your WA Museum Season Pass without refund.
