Book connoisseur? Our rare books return. Feast your eyes on some exquisite books with our Librarian Bobbie Bruce, this time on an odyssey in the Wild Life Gallery.

Take this opportunity to view more rare books and art from the Museum's library collection. Learn how these invaluable primary sources were used in the initial research and development of displays of several creatures featured in the gallery.

For serious bibliophiles, the session also highlights the Museum’s original taxonomist, Ludwig Glauert and their 'working copy' of Systema Naturae, 1735, and also a facsimile edition of the original Linnaeun tables from which all modern classification systems have their roots.
