Immerse yourself in the creative world of claymation, where you'll refine your skills in crafting and manipulating characters, designing intricate backdrops, and capturing frame-by-frame sequences to bring your story to life. The playful medium of clay serves as your artistic playground! 

This workshop encourages you to unleash your creativity to bring a story to life in a vibrant and fun way. So, bring along your artistic skills, some patience and attention to detail to transform your ideas into a cinematic masterpiece.

Watch out Disney and Pixar!

During this workshop, participants will:

  • Develop a simple storyboard to map out the key events in your claymation
  • Craft and manipulate characters and settings ready to shoot your piece
  • Use Hue software to produce your animation
  • Share your finished product with the group before taking it home.

Drop and leave programs

Drop and leave programs enable juniors to experience the Museum independently, discover and learn something new in an area of interest and access materials and resources that would not normally be available at home. All programs are managed and monitored by our experienced Learning and Engagement staff.
