Delve into the thrilling world of claymation and unleash your creativity in a vibrant and fun way.
Craft and manipulate characters, design interesting backdrops and settings before capturing frame-by-frame sequences to create your stop-motion animation story. All through the playful medium of clay.
So, bring along your artistic skills, some patience and attention to detail to transform your ideas into a cinematic masterpiece.
Watch out Disney and Pixar!
During this workshop, participants will:
- Develop a simple storyboard to map out the key events in your claymation.
- Choose a theme to work with or select one from the list provided.
- Craft and manipulate characters and settings ready to shoot your piece.
- Use Hue software to produce your stop-motion animation
- Share your finished product with the group before taking it home.

Drop and leave programs
Drop and leave programs enable juniors to experience the Museum independently, discover and learn something new in an area of interest and access materials and resources that would not normally be available at home. All programs are managed and monitored by our experienced Learning and Engagement staff.
