Designed with little visitors (and their grown-ups) in mind, the Museum makes family outings easy and enjoyable.

Drop in to our self-led Little OceanXplorers Play Space, join a daily Storytime, get hands-on with Discovery Time, or book into one of our educator-led Little Learners early learning sessions during school terms. There’s always something to spark curiosity and delight young minds.

Alternatively, explore at your own pace— the Museum is open daily from 9.30am to 5pm, with flexible drop-in entry so you can visit when it suits your routine.

We’ve got all the essentials covered:

  1. Pram-friendly spaces throughout
  2. Baby change facilities on every level
  3. A parents’ room with feeding facilities
  4. Parking available at the State Library car park
